Rose City Federal Credit Union is a group of people sharing a common bond of association who save together and make low cost loans to each other from the accumulated funds. It aims to assist its members in the planning for financial peace of mind. Many members of credit unions have been able to achieve their goals of economic stability through the help of the credit union movement. RCFCU is an individual nonprofit organization chartered and supervised by the federal government.
It is owned and operated by its members and serves only its members. Its purpose is to encourage regular savings and the wise use of credit. The basic philosophy of the credit union is of brotherhood, economic democracy, and mutual self-help.
Membership is open to everyone within the common bond or field of membership.
A membership application is available at either of the Credit Union Offices. When joining, a $5.00 Savings must be deposited plus an entrance fee of $10.00. Savings are called “Shares” and each is worth $5.00. Savings may be deposited easily by payroll deduction or by cash or personal check delivered in person or mailed to the Credit Union Offices.
