Since 1934, the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association has worked to advance the credit union movement in Pennsylvania. The Association relies on annual membership dues for our advocacy activities. Membership is an investment in your credit union, your staff, and your volunteers.
Credit unions headquartered out of state with a branch in Pennsylvania who are a member of their home state league may join the Association as an Associate member.
Your membership is part of a local, state and national organization fighting for the interests of all credit unions. On a regional basis, your staff and volunteers can network, learn, and support “grassroots” political advocacy through your local Chapter. The Association’s primary area of expertise is regulatory and legislative advocacy, on both state and national issues. Working closely with CUNA, your credit union is part of a national alliance that is one of the strongest advocacy organizations in the county.
Your Association works with Pennsylvania policymakers and legislators to help create a positive operating environment for your credit union. Our Government Relations staff, Government Relations Committee and credit union leaders work collaboratively to forge strong relationships with key policy-makers. In addition to the solutions our staff provides, we have formed strategic alliances with companies providing services to credit unions. These affiliates undergo an intensive due diligence process to insure the highest quality service. Key areas include Lending, Marketing, Fraud and Loss Prevention, HR and Staff Training, Member Services, Network Security, Operations and Strategic Planning.
